Portuguese and Real Madrid standout player, Cristiano Ronaldo is now a proud father of twins. The twins were born on Thursday and have been reportedly named Mateo and Eva.
The birth of the twins is nearly seven years since Ronaldo first became a father to a son named after him. Now, the young man has a sister and a brother to play with – more than he would probably have been expecting.
Reports indicate that Ronaldo’s twins came through a surrogate mother just like his first son.
The identity of Cristiano Jr’s mother has always been kept a secret.
Speaking previously about his son growing up without a mum, the footballer told The Jonathan Ross Show: “For me it is not a problem. I will say in the world, many kids don’t have mum, don’t have dads or dads die or mums die… Cristiano has a dad, an unbelievable dad.
Meanwhile, the mercurial and lethal striker is yet to confirm the news to the public. However, it was earlier reported in March that Ronaldo was expecting twins.
All in all, it has been a fantastic two years for the Cristiano Ronaldo. He won the European Championship with Portugal last summer after winning the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid.
To booth, his team won both Laliga and UEFA Champions League. Understandably, Ronaldo is the overwhelming favourite to win another Barlon d’Or and now this!
Things seem to get better with age regarding the Portuguese. One can only say ‘long may it continue and congratulations’
