I could imagine that the top guns at AC Milan would be wondering what blunder they committed in allowing their former midfield genius leave for a big rival like Juventus at the beginning of the just concluded European football season. Having gone on to win the Scudetto in style at the Turin based club, Andrea Pirlo joined the league of the ‘immortals’ in not losing a match throughout the Serie A season. He also played some of the best matches of his career during the season as he marshaled excellently the midfield and created tons of chances and assists for his teammates to ensure that remarkable achievement.
